Another month, another ISO image of the amazing Arch Linux operating system is now available for download, released today, December 1, 2013, on the official website.

As usual, at the beginning of each month, the development team behind the Arch Linux operating system prepares a new installation media for its distribution, which includes a new kernel, updated packages, updated translations, as well as various improvements and bugfixes.

Therefore, Arch Linux 2013.12.01 is powered by Linux kernel 3.12 (3.12.2 is the current kernel used in Arch Linux) and includes all the updates that were released during the past month, November 2013.

We kindly remind everyone that this new ISO image is ready for those of you who are eager to install Arch Linux on new machines. Existing Arch Linux users don’t need it in order to keep their systems up to date, as Arch is a rolling-release distro and they can always keep it updated using the sudo pacman -Syu command.

As usual, new Arch Linux ISO images are distributed as a dual-architecture media, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. Download Arch Linux 2013.12.01 right now from Softpedia.
