Yet another ISO image of the powerful Arch Linux operating system has been released today, November 1, 2013, by the Arch Linux developers.

Every month, the Arch Linux development team prepares a new installation image that contains a new kernel, new/updated packages, as well as various improvements and bugfixes, ready for those of you who are eager to install Arch Linux on new machines.

Arch Linux 2013.11.01 is the new ISO version, it is still powered by Linux kernel 3.11 (3.11.6 is the actual version) and includes all the updates that were released during the past month, October 2013.

Of course, existing Arch Linux users don’t need to grab a new ISO image of Arch Linux in order to keep their systems up to date, as this is a rolling-release distribution, and you can always keep it healthy by using the sudo pacman -Syu command from time to time.

Arch Linux 2013.11.01 is distributed as a dual architecture ISO image, supporting both 64-bit and 32-bit platforms. Download Arch Linux 2013.11.01 right now from Softpedia.
