Antergos 2013.08.2 Now Includes Openbox

A new distribution has been released instead of Cinnarch

Antergos, a distribution based on Arch Linux that used to go by the name of Cinnarch, has been released and comes with a simple version, 2013.08.2.

This is the second major release in the series and it comes with a ton of new changes.

All the other services from the Cinnarch version have been ported to the new one, along with the forum database.

Highlights of Antergos 2013.08.2:

• Users will be able to choose “Base” as a type of installation instead of one of the several Desktop Environment choices;
• LVM2 support has been implemented;
• Smoother transitions between screens, when the installation is running in the background, has been implemented;
• The Antergos logo is now shown in the GDM screen;
• Openbox is now used as Window Manager instead of Kwin.
