The development team behind the Anjuta IDE (Integrated Development Environment) application has announced that the first Beta release of the forthcoming 3.12 version is available for testing.

Anjuta IDE 3.12 Beta 1 removes unneeded weak pointer for run-program, automatically sets the default setting for project directory, author, version, and email in the project wizard, the new window action is no longer disabled, adds a missing image for an icon located next to recent projects, and removes a weak pointer for debug-manager.

Moreover, this Beta version of Anjuta IDE fixes a warning message that occurred after closing a program that was initially started via Run -> Execute, removes a weak pointer when the plugin is finalized in file-manager, removes a weak pointer when the context is terminated in tools, and removes a critical warning message that occurred when the program was closed.

Last but not least, an unused idle handler has been removed from the build-basic-autotools component, some critical warnings that appeared when users tried to close the program with multiple windows opened have been fixed, another weak pointer has been removed from symbol-db when the plugin was terminated, and several translations have been updated.

You can download Anjuta IDE 3.12 Beta 1 right now from Softpedia, but keep in mind that this is an unstable release and it should not be used on production machines.
