Titles from the 2K Games collection might be arriving to the Linux platform by the end of this month, if we are to believe the Amazon website.
A rumor about the availability of Civilization V, for example, on Steam for Linux, is already out there. Valve used a screenshot from the game to illustrate the functionality of the SteamOS, which is a Linux based operating system from the developers of Steam.
Amazon has now listed the 2K Definitive Strategy Collection, which contain the new XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Civilization V, as Linux games, with a launch date of October 22.
Moreover, a few other games from the 2K collection have been listed in the Linux category, on Amazon.com, including NBA 2K14 and NBA 2K13.
Whether this is only a mistake from the retailer or it’s just advanced information that they weren't supposed to share remains to be seen.
