There aren't many features in this release, except a few important fixes

AmaroK 2.5 Beta 1, a music player for Linux and Unix with an intuitive interface, has been announced by the AmaroK development team.

AmaroK 2.5 Beta 1 brings only a handful of features, but they are pretty important ones and paint the future for this particular music player.

Firts off, the USB Mass Storage support has been entirely rewritten and should work a lot better. Secondly, a lot of bugfixes to the iPod plugin have been fixed, thanks to Matěj Laitl.

Finally, the most important feature of all, is the integrated Amazon MP3 store. The developers have appealed to the community to provide some icos and background graphics.

A complete list fo changes will be published with the launch of the final release of Amarok 2.5.
