The Alpine Team has just announced that Alpine Linux 2.6.3, a community-developed operating system designed for x86 Routers, Firewalls, VPNs, VoIP and servers, is now available for download.

Alpine Linux 2.6.3 has received a huge number of updates and changes, but the most interesting one seems to be the implementation of a new Linux kernel

Other changes include the introduction of lzo support, and the updates for Zabbix (2.0.7) and for PHP (5.4.17).
