The 2.2x branch of SeaMonkey has gone through a series of three Beta versions and the developers took their time adding numerous new features.
For example, an option has been added to thread messages received by date, the deletion of news posts by default is now allowed, an optional taskbar preview-per-tab has been added, and a few others.
A few specific Mozilla changes have been made, such as SVG rendering improvements around Image tiling and scaling, no more 3C touch events, and several stability issues have been corrected.
