Age of Wonders III is a turn-based strategy game developed and published by Triumph Studios that has just been ported to the Linux platform.

The developers from Triumph Studios have been working for some time on the Linux port, and they have finally released a patch that allows Linux Steam users to get in the game. Age of Wonders III for Linux has been in the Beta for the past few months, so it's not really a surprise.

In fact, this update for Age of Wonders III has been made available to compliment a new DLC called Eternal Lords Expansion and which is actually the second one release for the game.

“Rule as one of 6 RPG style leader classes: Sorcerer, Theocrat, Rogue, Warlord, Archdruid, or the tech-focused Dreadnought. Research powerful skills unique to your class to develop your empire and arsenal. Choose your allies from among the six main races - Humans, High Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Goblins and Draconians - and fantastical monster dwellings,” is noted on the official Steam website.

The system requirements for Age of Wonders III are pretty decent, if we take into account how the game actually looks. Users will need at least an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, 4 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 460 1GB, and 10 GB of space.
