APT (Advanced Package Tool), a set of core tools inside Debian that makes it possible to install, remove and keep applications up to date, is now at version 0.9.11.

Advanced Package Tool has been launched back in 1998, and 15 years later it's almost at version 1.0. Yet another development version has been made available for download.

Highlights of APT 0.9.11:

• An error message is now shown if {,dist-}upgrade is used with additional arguments; • Glob() has been added to fileutl.{cc,h}; • libapt-private has been added into the apt binary; • apt.install.in has been adjusted to only install libapt-private.so.

A complete list of changes and updates can be found in the official announcement. Download APT (Advanced Package Tool) 0.9.11 right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
