4MLinux Server Edition, a special distribution based on Busybox, Dropbear, OpenSSH, and PuTTY, is now at version 7.2 Beta.

According to the developers, 4MLinux Server Edition 7.2 Beta is just an updated version of 4MLinux 7.1 Server Edition using 4MLinux 7.1 as the core system.

Highlights of 4MLinux Server Edition 7.2 Beta:

• FTP (vsftpd 3.0.2), HTTP with HTTPS (Busybox 1.21.1), SSH with SFTP (OpenSSH 6.3p1), and telnet have been implemented; • The thttpd build of PHP 5.5.6 (with cURL 7.32.0 support), Perl 5.18.1, and DBMS (SQLite 3.8.1, MariaDB 5.5.34 with Adminer 3.7.1) have been added; • 4MLinux Firewall 7.2 (based on iptables 1.4.21) and Clam AntiVirus 0.98 provide the security; • A proxy server (Polipo 1.0.4.1 with TOR 0.2.3.25), WinScp 5.1.7, Putty 0.63, rdesktop 1.8.1, and EchoVNC 2.40a have also been added.
