4MLinux Server Edition, a special distribution based on Busybox, Dropbear, OpenSSH and PuTTY, is now at version 7.0.

According to the developers, 4MLinux Server Edition 7.0 is just an updated version of 4MLinux 6.1 Server Edition using 4MLinux 7.0 as the core system.

Highlights of 4MLinux Server Edition 7.0:

• FTP (vsftpd 3.0.2), HTTP (Busybox 1.21.1) with HTTPS (via Stunnel 3.22), SSH with SFTP (OpenSSH 6.2p2), and Telnet (Busybox 1.21.1) have been implemented; • A proxy server (Polipo 1.0.4.1 with TOR 0.2.3.25) has been added; • The programming environment includes PHP 5.5.1, Perl 5.18.0, and DBMS (SQLite 3.7.17, MariaDB 5.5.32 with Adminer 3.7.1); • Clam AntiVirus 0.97.8 and 4MLinux Firewall 7.0 have been added for the main security.

4MLinux is a mini Linux distro focusing on the following "4M": Maintenance (system rescue Live CD), Multimedia (e.g., playing video DVDs), Miniserver (using the inetd daemon), and Mystery (Linux games).
