4MLinux, a mini Linux distribution that is focused on the 4Ms of computing, Maintenance (system rescue Live CD), Multimedia (e.g., playing video DVDs), Miniserver (using the inetd daemon), and Mystery (Linux games), is now at version 7.0.

4MLinux is one of the smallest distributions in the world that still retain the ability to work as a normal desktop environment, integrating some of the newest applications available.

The developers are providing two different version of this distribution, one with a GUI which requires 256MB of RAM (works also as a Live CD) and one with a TUI which requires 128MB of RAM.

Both versions can be subsequently upgraded to 4MLinux Allinone Edition, when it becomes available. 4MLinux integrates Opera 12.16, LibreOffice 4.0, SMPlayer 0.8.5, and Partition Wizard 8.0, just to name a few of the applications available.

A complete list of changes and updates can be found in the official announcement.
